Like some sort of friendly Godzilla, our giant IKEA store literally strides down the street, bringing all of its flat pack furniture and Swedish treats conveniently closer to you.
It was a dream come true to call upon a love of old Japanese monster movies to create our own mini capsule sized versions.
Using the iconic, recognisable design of the IKEA store, I created a character aimed to be both warm and familiar as well as tactile and funny.
This was turned into a lovable puppet, part scale model building, part zany, stretchable muppet, calling upon the amazing talents of some of the best model makers and puppet fabricators to bring it into reality.
